ENTIRE TEAM IS BABIES

All the characters from Team Fortress 2, as children. No, this isn't one specific year, so their ages don't really compare. I did WAY too much research to make things fairly accurate to the indicated time periods, though!

Demo has tartan pants, here, because the design from the comic looked plain by comparison. And, that's a Molotov cocktail in progress. I guess he's around 11 here? Demo Lad, Awaaaay....

Heavy is reading Dostoyevsky and is criticizing the anti-Semitic bits. He is disappoint. And about 13? He will later read Tolstoy and have a better time of it, despite, uh... everything.

Engie loves Bonanza and The Lone Ranger. That li'l slingshot may just be the ORIGINAL sentry. SAP THAT! HA! He's 7 or so.

Sniper is 14 and struggling under the ravages of puberty. He hates everything, including his parents and his hat which he thinks is too big and makes his ears stick out, but his mother tells him to be grateful, and to wear his bloody Akubra and be happy about it.

Spy, growing up in Nazi-occupied France, has a very hard life. His parents (mostly his father) work with La Resistance, as it were, and young Spy begins ferrying messages from an early age. He got that knife, passed down from his great uncle who was in WWI, and well... he spent these early years stabbing Nazis in the back, the stomach, and the throat. Here, he's between 8 and 10, learning early that it's best if people can't pin down your age.

Medic, in post-WWI, depression-era Germany, did not have many friends growing up. He spends most of his time reading, and feeding the birds. The pigeons will sit and have lunch with him, even if the other kids won't. He's around 10 here, as well. Oh, and, that pigeon is called Pythagoras, and is a li'l chubster.

Pyro had a fairly normal upbringing, in my head. Their interests include thrill shows, the circus, the Human Cannonball... that sort of thing. Most kids play with matches at least once, right? Right? The Pyro, here around 9, is just more curious about it than others. Their parents assume they just need a better outlet for all of that natural curiosity. Eventually something will stick, the parents hope.

I'm not sure where Soldier got a WWI Brodie helmet, but it's his constant companion. It might have just been a yard sale or something, but ever since he 'liberated' it from its previous owner, he will even sleep with it on, if his mom will let him. He's about 7 here, and has annexed that spoon into his artillery. First spoon, then shovel, then THE WORLD.... for AMERICA.

Scout. Ickle baby Scout. Ickle baby Scout in a Red Sox hat. D'aawwww. Probably the fastest little rugrat in south Boston, crawling around and putting things in his mouth and nose that have NO business being there. Some things never change.

So yes. Mercenary BABIES, makin' your dreams come TRUE~! Especially if your dreams involve copious amounts of murder and bloodshed, which, don't lie, you know they do. <3
